Confidentiality Agreement
The Mutual Confidentiality Agreement formalises the use of the directory structure for authentication and authorisation. It is anticipated that if the need for additional attributes grows then this agreement will be revised, or additional agreements created. This agreement forms the baseline for use of the distrusted authentication.
Functional Model
The objective of the Functional Model is to capture the requirements for the WALAP directory as defined by the key project stakeholders. This document is therefore a key input to the design phase.
Directory Design Document
The key objective of the Directory Design Document is to provide a detailed description of the eTrust Directory schema design and architecture for the WALAP Directory. The design team has taken into account both the key requirements identified in the WALAP Functional Model and the design considerations and constraints identified above in determining the following specifications. This document will serve as a key reference for the upcoming development and implementation phases.
Attribute Value Consensus Agreement
The purpose of this agreement is to inform the use and population of the attributes described by the auEduPerson and auEduUnit schemas and should be read in conjunction with the WALAP Directory Design document. This document takes precedence over the design document in matters of attribute values. This agreement will be subject to change over time.
EDUCAUSE IN AUSTRALASIA 2003 Paper
This paper was written by Peter Green and Alex Reid, and presented at the conference in Adelaide in May 2003.
QuestNET Presentation
Presentation given by Alex Reid, IT Policy Executive Officer at UWA, and Project Chair at QuestNET 2002 conference.
VALA2002 Paper
This paper was written and delivered at an early stage of the project, but provides a good view of the motivations and direction of the project. Presented by Peter Green, WALAP Project Manager, at VALA 2002 conference.
Request For Proposal
The Request for Proposal was advertised in July 2001 and a lengthy process was followed to shortlist and then recommend the successful respondent. The original RFP is provided here for background information.
Scope Document
This WALAP Scope document provides a high level view of the objectives of the project and is a standard project management tool for ensuring a project stays on track. There has been little change to the scope during the project.
